Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how refunds are handled for paid subscriptions to System Stats ("the Service"). By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Free Plan

The Free plan is provided at no charge. It does not require payment and is therefore not subject to refunds.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New paid subscriptions (Pro and Team) are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 calendar days of your initial paid subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting us at [email protected].

This guarantee applies only to your first paid subscription. Subsequent renewals, upgrades, or repeat subscriptions on the same account are not eligible.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, during which you retain full access to the Service.

Outside the 14-day money-back guarantee window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing cycle.

4. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual term.

Outside the 14-day money-back guarantee window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, including for unused months remaining in the term. In exceptional circumstances (for example, prolonged Service outage or billing error), we may, at our sole discretion, issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.

5. Upgrades and Downgrades

  • Upgrades (e.g. Pro → Team) take effect immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
  • Downgrades (e.g. Team → Pro, or Paid → Free) take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference.

6. Failed or Duplicate Charges

If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after cancellation), please contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a full refund for any confirmed billing error.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, including:

  • Your account email
  • The date of the charge
  • A brief reason for the request

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Effective Date" and will apply to subscriptions purchased after that date.
